What is hi speed internet?

Anything exceeding the top dial up speed of 56 kbs (kilobits per second). Hi speed internet is also called broadband. It is mostly delivered over land lines and sometimes wireless. Mainely Wired provides wireless broadband service exclusively at a speed of 1 Mbs (megabits per second)

What equipment do I need?

To connect to Mainely Wired's broadband service an antenna and a modem will be professionally installed by Mainely Wired personnel. You may also need a network card if one is not already installed in your computer. Please see our Standard Installation Conditions for what is and what is not included in an installation.
