Standard Installation Conditions

Customer Equipment needs:
PC - Windows 98 or better - clock speed > 500 MHz
Apple - iMac or better with OS 9 or better

Site survey for location of best possible signal (signal strength, quality, and noise level). Outside power source needed. Customer will be informed of results.

Survey interior structure for best modem location. Survey exterior for best antenna location.

Install Cushcraft PC906 Yagi antenna or indoor antenna securely at location. (Long range antennas available at extra charge)

Run antenna cable to best available modem location inside structure.

Install WaveRider End User Modem (EUM).

Install ElPac 3578 power supply.

Furnish 10' of LMR-400 cable with connectors. (Additional Length at $ 1.00/ft)

Establish signal link with base station.

Verify and calibrate signal to base station.

Any additional work will be billed at our normal installation rate of $45.00/hr.

Any additional equipment or material costs will be billed at regular Mainely Wired rates.

Installer will give a written estimate of all additional costs before starting installation.

No installation work will be started unless the customer has agreed by signing the estimate sheet.
